Big Garden Birdwatch At Willesden Jewish Cemetery
Bring the whole family and join us for the annual RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!
Now in our fourth year taking part in this much-loved national project, we’d be delighted to welcome you to join the fun.
Our friendly bird-watching volunteers will be on hand in the peaceful grounds of Willesden Jewish Cemetery from 10:30–11:30 on Sunday, helping spot and record the birds who call this special urban haven home.
Afterwards, warm up in the Heritage Centre with hot drinks and biscuits.
This isn’t just about counting birds - it’s a chance to connect with nature, discover surprising wildlife in the city and contribute to a meaningful conservation project.
We also have a special historical link to the RSPB. Hannah Poland, an early member of the RSPB and passionate advocate for bird protection, is buried here at Willesden. Her pioneering work helped shape the global conservation movement we know today a legacy we are proud to honour.
Colouring in sheets will be avaible for all.
All ages are welcome (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
Free event — registration essential.
