New Gates
The Heritage team at Willesden Jewish Cemetery are delighted to announce the installation of new entry gates, made possible thanks to the support of Brent Council, the Ironmongers' Company, and the United Synagogue. These beautiful gates feature an original design with some new artistic elements that perfectly complement the historic surroundings of the Cemetery, which is now celebrating its 150th year. They provide a grand entrance for visitors and enhance the overall visitor experience.
The United Synagogue, which operates the Cemetery, collaborated with Brent Council and the Ironmongers' Company during the design and construction process. We are grateful to Brent Council for their commitment to supporting this important project and for their dedication to preserving the heritage of the local area. Their support has allowed us to make significant improvements to the Cemetery and provide a peaceful and dignified final resting place for members of the Jewish community as well as a cultural landmark for all to visit.
We are proud to continue our partnership with Brent Council and the Ironmongers' Company to make a positive impact on the local community.
